Congratulations! I am delighted to inform your that we have approved your application to High Point University for the 2009 fall semester. Because we recieved a record number of highly-qualified applications, this year's freshman applicant pool was particularly competitive. You can be proud that your accomplishments -- both academic and extracurricular -- have placed you in very exclusive company. On behalf of the entire High Point University family, I would like to welcome you to the class of 2013!
Enclosed within your addmissions packet, you will find a New Student Enrollment Guide. Thsi guide includes the Student Information Form, which needs to be completed and returned, along with a $500 enrollment deposit no later than January 9, 2009. Your enrollment deposit, which will be applied directly toward your first semester account, reserves a place for you in the freshman class. Beginning November 25, you may also submit your deposit online by logging on to your HPU application checklist and clicking on the "DEPOSIT" button. Because you are an Early Decision applicant, your enrollment deposit is nonrefundable. You should also proceed now to withdraw your applications from all other colleges or universities to which you applied.
Because you intend to live on campus, the date your enrollment deposit is recieved determines your priority in the housing assignment process. You will recieve a New Student Housing Form in the spring. If you have a residence hall preference and/or a roommate choice, you will be able to include this information on your New Student Housing Form.
All of us on campus are excited that you have chosen High Point University. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of HPU, I wish you nothing but success as you begin your college career. Should you have any questions, or if we can assist you in any way, please feel free to contact us at (number censored for protection).
Sincerely,
(name censored for protection)
