Not bad animation

While the looks of everything and the wind sounds weren't great, the animated person does. But even as a trailer, it was pretty short, too. Plus, I can't think of a way this kind of thing can become parts of a movie. But then again you're probably thinking differently compared to what I'm thinking. Will there eventually be bloopers in the movie? Other than having the poor guy's parachute rope snap off in mid freefall? Because those would look great along with the actual movie. Well, I'll just have to wait and see what you can do then.

Cute and funny

And I'm not normally one to call something "cute" either, so this was obviously pretty good. Short, but still good. Your animation was very fluent, the drawings were great, the sounds worked well with the theme, and overall, this was a short short that was rather funny. Who knew spontaneous combustion could kill any lighting match?

Wonchop responds:

Most people I guess. XD

Well done good sir!

Those aliens looked pretty awesomely drawn there, as so did everything else in this short movie. The voices were really unique too. Except they would've sounded a little better if they spoke jibberish and you could translate it at the bottom in subtitles. Another slight problem I found was the music choice. No, the music itself was fine. It's just that I'm not entirely sure jazz goes with an alien theme, especially if the aliens are destroying planets for no good reason.
Other than that, this should really continue to a series if possible, because this is great!

Rybry responds:

thanks for the good feedback, yeah i might continue it and i'll take what you said into consideraton for my next flash

Can't wait for the series

Just by looking at this 15-second trailer, I can already tell this will become the new greatest series of all time. Movements, actions, looks, future plot, graphics, everything looks great about this, even if it was just a trailer. When you have some free time, do you think you can make an animation tutorial for us?

EternalDescent responds:

Hi there, thanks alot for your comments! I hope the future installments live up to your expectations. This project is a collaboration, to find out more about the character animation, visit www.Sharvonique.com .

Nice but hard to follow

It was an alright claymation and I liked some of the character models but there was just a lot of stuff happening there making it hard to follow what was going on there. Also, after the "grenade" part, there was no actual explosion. It would've been better if there actually was. Although I did like it when the same animation was happening on the computer at the same time in one part.
So overall, it wasn't great but not horrible either.

PhynStudios responds:

Its damn impossible to make an explosion out of clay.

Best parody yet!

Lip-synching: awesome.
Sound choices: awesome.
Last parody: awesome.
The fact that it's going into my favorites: awesome.
Overall: awesome.

Above the average parody

The lip-synching WAS better but still not perfect as the last guy mentioned. Right away I could recognize the voice from Starcraft.
The other voices were pretty funny too, but after the last one, there were no credits nor a replay button.
But yeah, this movie was fine. These Phoenix Wrong movies really need a collection...

Xenolord responds:

Thank you for your constructive criticism. And yes, I agree they need a collection. I'm SITLL working on the lip syncing. I figure I'll get it right SOME TIME. And when I do, I'll over haul all of them.

Sorry. Not really a blooper

I'd hate to break it to you but this really didn't mock the Mario series on what really happens. Plus, if you're going to use sprites, try to keep them from the same game. It looks much better that way.
Also, for bloopers, they weren't that funny. Try something else.

BepsiWay responds:

Who said I was trying to mock the Mario sprites, I'm just showing you what happens when they mess up

Never thought of a sequel

Wow, this was just as good as the first one, and boy am I lucky to catch it while it was under judgement. I like how you included all the other characters in this one (except for the female characters) and stuff them in hilarious situations, like when Shadow went emo. And so what if this was a little late? At least it can provide some laughs.

Happy Halloween indeed

There were a few things that tricked me about this movie at first.
1. The low file size
2. Considering the name, it might have been a poser
But this totally proved me wrong. Plus, you also proved that screamers/scary parts out of nowhere are not always bad.
All in all, it rocked for a short.

Yeah, that pretty much describes my room
